Woodland CUSD #5 was made aware this evening of a threat made to students on an after school bus route.  The threat was made by a high school student towards a group of students insinuating school violence tomorrow at school.  The district is cooperating fully with the Livingston County Sheriff’s Department and the family of the student to ensure one the safety and security of all students and staff at Woodland and two the person responsible for the threat is disciplined in the appropriate manner.   

At Woodland, student and staff safety is our top priority and our emergency procedures were executed in response to this incident.  
School will resume Thursday morning as regularly scheduled with a Livingston County Sheriff’s presence on site.
